This fits in with the Government’s desire to ensure that the education children receive suits their particular learning style.
Whenever I commence working with a child (or indeed an adult) with additional needs, I will always start with POPAT. Often, their fundamental failing stems from their lack of phonological awareness. Once this is established, most children go on to achieving their full potential.
